Nikolas Alexander Caesar Churchill
Hot shot pilot noble looking for answers of his parents' demise.
Nikolas Alexander Caesar Churchill was born into the Churchill noble family to Elizabeth Catherine Antoinette Churchill and William Frederick Bonaparte Churchill. He was second in line of succession as head of house behind his brother, Marcus Arthur Benedict Churchill. Both were enthralled as children by the aircraft that zoomed around their home planet of Lukkas II. But what they loved the most was the flights of Lightnings of the PDF flying in tight squadrons every once in a while, either at shows for Noblemen or on patrol runs.
Like many noble families, it is encouraged that they enter into the military for a period of time, to learn both how to command and discipline. Reaching the age, Marcus enrolled into the Navy as an Aeronautical Pilot, his parents purchasing him his own Lightning. Flying sorties largely against pirates, the Churchill House was swept with grief when a report came to them from the Captain of the ship he served on reported that his Lightning was shot down by an unfortunate accident and that the ones responsible have been dealt with severely. The Lighting was sent back to the Churchill estate along with their son’s body. Nikolas, as a final service to his brother, learnt the necessary rites and rituals to repair the Lightning. After a few years, it was complete and he named it the Jade Dragon, painting it with such a likeness.
By this time, Nikolas himself had reached the age to do his time in the service before taking on the duties of the House with his parents. He too joined the Navy as an Aeronautical Pilot, taking his Lightning with him. His basic training was interrupted when he heard news of his parents’ death from what was reported as an aircraft accident on Lukkas II. Allowed to leave Basic for his home planet, Nikolas soon found himself as the untested ruler of House Churchill. With help of his advisers, Nikolas soon had the affairs of the House settled and his rule acknowledged.
However, Nikolas has always been filled with a sort of adventurous streak and something did not seem to add up with the reports of his parent’s deaths. First he found that the shuttle they were using had been given a thorough maintenance check by the House’s most trusted Tech-Priest Engineseer. Looking further he found that his parents were coming from a party hosted by Hugo Digelines Blatorna Giffron Aphormius VI of House Aphormius, long time rivals of the Churchills. Nikolas suspected foul play, however he could not gather more evidence than just a hunch. Deciding he could go no further, he decided to at least complete his time in the Navy before returning as Head of House Churchill, as according to his parent’s wishes. Thus, he placed the house in the care of his most trusted advisers until his time in the Navy expired.
